Description:
We organised a Future Museum Conference with the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp, coinciding with the museum’s reopening and serving as a platform to share research results from the Future Museum project.

The project included:

  • Partnering with the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp and supported by the Arts Council of Flanders (Kunstenpunt / Flanders Arts Institute*)

  • Bringing together museum leaders and professionals from Belgium, the Netherlands, and worldwide

  • Hosting keynote speakers such as Michael Neaults (Art Institute of Chicago), Merete Sanderhoff (Statens Museum for Kunst, Denmark), and the University of Leicester research team (Future Museum partner)

  • Presenting results of the Future Museum project and fostering debate on museum innovation and transformation
