Intro

Groundwork for the DOORS incubation programme. Before working with its own cohort, the project gathered digital projects from museums internationally, to anticipate the challenges a small museum meets and to give participants models to work from.

The term "sparkle case" was chosen deliberately in place of "best practice". These are projects that set something in motion inside their institutions — not all of them succeeded in the conventional sense, and that is the point.
