Meanings, formats, structures

Summary · 2022 · English · Museum Leadership House, Vienna, 27 November 2022

Intro

The first Museum Leadership House. Thirty-four directors, researchers and policymakers met in Vienna to consider what digital means for the role of the museum, how digital content is defined and produced, and what organisational structures support transformation.

The summary follows the three conversations of the day. Its most durable outcome is a first set of guiding principles for museums acting as digital content producers, written by the people in the room rather than derived from theory.
